Lucille “Lucy” Ann Lewis Richardson 1936-2014

Our Church Family at First United Methodist Church of Saranac Lake are saddened by the passing of Lucille Richardson a long time member of our congregation.  Our Thoughts and Prayers of Comfort are with Lucille's Family and Friends but we take Solace in the knowledge that she is in the loving arms of our Lord.

Excerpt from Obituary  

Lucille "Lucy" Ann Lewis Richardson, 77, of Saranac Lake died Monday, April 7,2014 with her family by her side, after a courageous battle from a spinal injury.

She was born Nov. 26, 1936, daughter of Delores (VanNortwick) and Raymond Richardson.

She graduated from Saranac Lake High School in 1954.Lucy married Denton "Destry" Lewis on April 16, 1955. Lucille had a 35 year career with NY Telephone as an operator and supervisor. After her retirement she kept herself busy with various part time job including Tupper Lake National Bank, North Country Home Services and private pet care. Lucille was a member of numerous organizations, including SL Golf Club, Catholic Daughters, Telephone Pioneers, Lady of the Elks, and most recent United Methodist Church.
